Water lilies are amazing plants that feature white or pink flowers as well wide green leaves that float over water. They are found in ponds and lakes around the world and add a touch of dignity and class to its surroundings. To ensure that this iconic plant thrives, a set of conditions must be met. Firstly, the plant should only be kept in water that is still, (away from motorised fountains etc.) and should also only cover 1/3 of the waters total surface area so that each plant has the space it needs to grow. To help the plant flower, the temperature of the water that it kept in should be in a range of 18-28°C. If these conditions are met, this vibrant and exotic plant is sure to splash a dull pond with brilliant colours of white and pink!
