Philodendron ‘Billietiae’ is a plant that is well known for its long green mottled leaves. It is best grown in moist, fast draining soil, and should be watered in small amounts twice a day. Because this plant is classified as tropical, it loves bright, indirect sunlight as well as unusually high temperatures (for a Philodendron) of 18-26°C. Fertilizer is essential for the Philodendron ‘Billietiae’ to survive. A slow-release fertilizer should be used in spring and summer, but must not be used in winter, because this could possibly kill the plant. If a totem is placed in the pot, the Philodendron ‘Billietiae’ can easily grow to be taller than 90cm, and is the perfect addition to any home, inside or out!
