Philodendron ‘Apple’ is a relatively common Philodendron breed, with wide, smooth green leaves. Like any other Philodendron, the ‘Apple’ variety thrives in constantly moist soil (not soggy!). To ensure that the soil does not become soggy, as this can cause rotting, water the plant once the top inch of the soil is dry, but only water it in small amounts to ensure that the soil will retain the water. The plant will grow to 90cm high if maintained correctly and should be fertilized with a slow-release fertilizer in the warm months. Philodendron ‘Apple’ is a brilliant way to add a splash of colour to any boring office or workspace!
