Mango trees grow to massive heights and are known for the fruit they produce, mangoes. These delicious yellow fruits are extremely popular in summer and several requirements must be met to ensure that the plant thrives. The tree should be planted in deep soil of anywhere from slightly acidic to slightly alkaline on the pH scale. The plant should be watered thoroughly every 2 days in summer, but may require more frequent watering in winter due to dry periods. The planting spot should receive full sun throughout the day, but should be well protected from wind to prevent plant damage. If these requirements are met, the plant should produce its delicious fruit within 3 years of planting. We have several varieties of mango trees available, including R2e2, Kensington Pride (Bowen), Nam Doc Mai, Keow Savoey (Thai Sweet Green), Howard, and Karthakolomban.
