Olive New Norcia Mission is a strong tree which produces olives that are ideally suited for olive oil and can also be used for pickling. The New Norcia Mission tree prefers to grow in full, direct sunlight in a large pot, because while the plant is young it will grow very fast and slow down as it gets older, so from time to time during its early stages it will grow rapidly and unpredictably. To ensure that the plant flourishes, it should be planted in soil that contains a high clay content, as well as being between pH 5.5 and 7. If maintained correctly, the Olive New Norcia Mission will grow to anywhere between 4-8 metres high and is a great addition to any backyard!
