"Advanced Olive Trees" typically refer to mature or well-established olive trees that have reached a certain age and size.
Olive trees are thin, beautiful trees with small, fuzzy leaves. The plant is well known for the fruit it produces, a small round fruit with a pit in the middle. This fruit is used in olive oil, one of the most popular types of oil in the world. To ensure that the tree reaches maximum fruiting potential, a series of conditions must first be met. Being a Mediterranean plant, the olive tree prefers hot and dry summers so that the fruit ripens, and a cold winter with a moderate amount of moisture so that the fruit can set.
All year round, the plant should receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day and will take 4-5 years to fruit from a seed, however due to the advanced nature of the specific olive trees, the fruiting period is lessened by 2-3 years.
