Fig ‘Brown Turkey’ is a medium sized tree featuring sparse green leaves. The tree is known for the small, brown fruits that it produces, called fig. To ensure that the tree produces lots of figs, a series of simple conditions must be met. Firstly, the tree should be planted in well drained, moist soil in a spot that receives at least 4 hours of direct sunlight daily. A slow-release fertilizer should also be used in the warm months to ensure that the plant has the nutrients it needs to flourish and produce the sweet tasting fruits.
