Fiji Red Guava is similar in almost every way to the white guava plant. The only difference is that the inside of the fruit is red instead of white. Like its cousin, a specific set of conditions must be met to ensure that the plant flourishes. Firstly, it is recommended that the Red Guava is planted in a spot which receives bright, direct sunlight and has nutrient rich soil. Extreme temperatures will cause for the plant to be permanently damaged or die, and the ideal climate for the plant is tropical. If these conditions are met, the plant will grow to a height of 2-5m and will produce its vibrant fruits within 3-4 of being planted.
