Malay apple is a medium to large sized tree featuring thin green leaves. It is known for the beautiful red fruits that it produces, which are red, and pear shaped. To ensure that the tree thrives and produces these brilliant fruits, it should be planted in a place with a warm, humid climate, and does not have to be planted in a particular type of soil. It should however receive at least 5 hours of direct sunlight per day, and if these conditions are met the plant will grow to a height between 12-18m and is sure to produce the brilliant red fruits it is known for.
