Rambutan XL is a medium sized tree featuring long narrow leaves. It is known for the lychee-like red fruits that it produces. To enable the tree to produce as much fruit as possible, a series of conditions must first be met. The plant thrives in tropical conditions, meaning that it should be kept in a high humidity environment and receive lots of water. It should be planted in well-draining, loose soil that is packed with nutrients, which will prevent root rot from excessive watering. If kept in direct sunlight for at least 5 hours a day, the plant will grow to a height of 30m, and will produce fruit within 5-8 years of planting.
